Salida Satsang Community
Since Salida Satsang is just getting started how we’re going to grow is up to the people that join the group. A healthy community grows to meet the needs of it’s members. As our membership grows our path will reveal itself. For the moment, here are some basic ideas about our next steps:
Creating Online 'Space'
Our first community building action will be setting up an online ‘space’ for Salida Satsang to communicate so that we can support each other, coordinate events, and plan for the future. But it needs to be accessible to our members to be useful. Where do you like to hang out online?
Expand Social Media
As we have more events, promotion on social media is going to be more and more of a must. It also takes a lot of time and energy. If we really want to expand our reach, Salida Satsang members will have to work together. What social media platforms are you familiar with?
Join Community Events
Should we decorate a Christmas tree in the park, march in the holiday parade, volunteer as a group to serve meals to unhoused folx, adopt a stretch of road then go out and pick up litter there or some other thing to contribute to the town that we all love? What would you like to do?
